EDEN PRAIRIE, MN – June 17, 2021 — Arctic Wolf®, the leader in security operations, today announced that it has been named the top midsize workplace in Minnesota by the Star Tribune. A complete list of those selected is available at StarTribune.com/mn-top-workplaces and will also be published in the Star Tribune Top Workplaces special section on Sunday, June 20.
Produced by the same team that compiles the 30-year-old Star Tribune 100 report of the best-performing public companies in Minnesota, the Top Workplaces ranking recognizes the most progressive companies in Minnesota based on employee opinions measuring engagement, organizational health and satisfaction. The analysis included responses from over 76,000 employees at Minnesota public, private, and nonprofit organizations.
The rankings in the Star Tribune Top 175 Workplaces are based on survey information collected by Energage, an independent company specializing in employee engagement and retention.
“Our entire team in Eden Prairie is humbled and proud to be named Minnesota’s top overall midsize workplace,” said Nick Schneider, president and chief revenue officer, Arctic Wolf. “Arctic Wolf is on a mission to end cyber risk, and this recognition is further validation that we have the world-class team, unmatched corporate culture, and industry leading cloud-native platform, capable of making that a reality for our customers.”
Star Tribune Publisher Michael J. Klingensmith said, “The companies in the Star Tribune Top 175 Workplaces deserve high praise for creating the very best work environments in the state of Minnesota. My congratulations to each of these exceptional companies.”
Over the last five years, Arctic Wolf’s office in Minnesota has been at the center of the company’s corporate growth strategy, with the team growing to over 250 employees. In October 2020, Arctic Wolf officially relocated its global headquarters from California to Eden Prairie, Minnesota after a $200M Series E funding round that gave the company a $1.3B valuation. Using that funding, Arctic Wolf is making significant investments in Minnesota throughout 2021 with the addition over 150 new positions and the opening of the company’s newest security operations center (SOC).
Arctic Wolf’s recognition as Minnesota’s top midsize workplaces is due in part to the company’s commitment to building an outstanding corporate culture that fosters innovation, professional growth for employees, and emphasizes diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI). More than 80 employees are now actively engaged in DEI initiatives, and an inaugural Employee Resource Group, Proud Wolves, is supporting LGBTQIA2S+ employees and causes. The company is implementing hiring manager training to recognize and stop unconscious bias and is launching scholarship programs to reach underserved communities and help the next generation of talent develop a passion for cybersecurity.
