I am pleased to announce that Arctic Wolf Networks has acquired cybersecurity vulnerability assessment leader RootSecure. The acquisition allows us to expand our offerings. While we’re currently recognized for our award-winning security operations center (SOC)-as-a-service, the AWN CyberSOC™ service, we also now provide comprehensive risk-based vulnerability assessment services for both networks and endpoints that improve any organization’s overall cybersecurity posture.
RootSecure employees, based in Canada, will be moving to our regional office in nearby Waterloo. The company’s proven solutions—now Arctic Wolf RootSecure solutions—quantify cyber and data risk. They arm IT and security teams with real-time, actionable insight from comprehensive and continuous vulnerability assessment of networks, devices, and people.
Such insights become increasingly important as organizations try to meet the challenges that come with the proliferation of devices and their inherent vulnerabilities across an expanding attack surface. Locating devices, prioritizing vulnerabilities, and helping remediate those vulnerabilities improves enterprise security hygiene. Combining Arctic Wolf RootSecure’s continuous vulnerability scanning technology with Arctic Wolf’s SOC-as-a-service offering provides customers with a more holistic view of their security posture, so they can quickly identify cyber exposure from static (vulnerabilities) and dynamic (threats) perspectives.
Starting today, enterprises now have a single partner that combines the industry’s leading SOC-as-a-service with innovative risk assessment to overcome the cybersecurity challenges ahead.
