Great Place to Work rankings reflect ongoing commitment to fostering inclusion and creating sense of belonging
EDEN PRAIRIE, MN—June 24, 2021—Amid an aggressive hiring spree, Arctic Wolf®, a leader in security operations, is proud to receive recognition by Great Place to Work® Canada as not only a 2021 Top Workplace in Ontario, but also as Best Workplace for mental wellness as well as inclusion.
“The Arctic Wolf ‘Wolfpack’ gets larger every day, and so does our commitment to supporting our people and creating a culture of safety, wellness, and inclusion,” said Kristin Dean, senior vice president of people, Arctic Wolf. “We’re honored and humbled to receive this recognition from Great Place to Work, which is based in large part on employee feedback. We are on a journey to become a more diverse, equitable, and inclusive place to work, and having programs to support all employees is core to our culture of belonging.”
The Great Place to Work recognition was determined after a thorough and independent analysis conducted by Great Place to Work. To be eligible for these lists, organizations must be Great Place to Work- Certified™ in the past year, and at least 90% of employees must agree they are treated fairly regardless of personal characteristics (such as gender, ethnicity, age, sexual orientation). At least 80% of employees must agree their workplace is psychologically and emotionally healthy. The data has a 90% confidence and a plus or minus 5% margin of error.
Arctic Wolf has nearly doubled its employee base in North America over the past 12 months. During that time, the company also has emphasized a commitment to fostering diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI). The company also offers a number of benefits for employee wellness, including unlimited paid time off, weekly yoga classes and an Employee Assistance Program for employees and their families. The company recently wrapped its “Pack Strong” Spring Training, where 90 Wolves collectively completed 1,030 wellness activities throughout the month-long program.
More than 80 Arctic Wolf employees are now actively engaged in DEI initiatives, and an inaugural Employee Resource Group, Proud Wolves, is supporting LGBTQIA2S+ employees and causes. The company is implementing hiring manager training to recognize and stop unconscious bias and is launching scholarship programs to reach underserved communities and help the next generation of talent develop a passion for tech.
