What does Managed Security Awareness include?

Arctic Wolf Managed Security Awareness includes fully managed security awareness training, 100% fresh content, access to security experts, automated phishing simulations with pre-packaged training, TruClickTM, report phishing button (for O365), reported email details, automated employee reminders, and account takeover monitoring. There’s also an option for compliance training.

What do I need to do during the programme?

Your role is to keep your management team engaged and informed.  Arctic Wolf handles all the content creation, scheduling, quizzes, phishing tests, and account takeover (ATO) monitoring. We identify when your programme — or employees — need attention, and notify you when employee credentials are exposed on the dark web. 

What does Managed Security Awareness Plus include?

Managed Security Awareness Plus includes the additional features of industry-focused ongoing training, role-based content, a content library, and reported phishing analytics.

What style of content does Arctic Wolf deliver?

How does Arctic Wolf use the leaderboard?

Arctic Wolf tracks employee participation in the programme and awards points to employees based on several participation factors such as how soon after receiving content they complete their microlearning lessons, how well they perform on quizzes, if they click on phishing simulations, and other actions they perform in the programme.

From where does Arctic Wolf source content?

Arctic Wolf has a full-time team of security training experts, designers, and production talent who create all the content used in your awareness programme.  

How does Arctic Wolf decide on training topics?

Arctic Wolf uses a combination of industry trends, threat intelligence, and best practises to inform your awareness content calendar. Our content team, who are also security experts with multiple security certifications, collaborates with our Concierge Security® Team to identify current threat vectors and determine how threat actors design their social engineering attacks.

What languages does Managed Security Awareness support?

Arctic Wolf Managed Security Awareness offers the following content in U.S. English, U.K. English, U.S. Spanish, and German:

  • Employee communication
  • Role-based content available with subtitles (for Managed Security Awareness Plus users only)

Phishing simulations are available in U.S. English and German, Spanish and the Admin Portal uses U.S. English.

Your overall awareness programme is tracked and measured based on your employee participation and behaviour scores. Your aggregated programme performance is updated on your dashboard as your Culture Score.

How does Arctic Wolf measure employee performance?

Employee participation and performance is directly tied to employee risk. Arctic Wolf uses quizzes, completed lessons, automated phishing simulations, and report cards to measure employee performance and identify where your organisation is most exposed to social engineering risks.

Why do you include account takeover (ATO) as an awareness programme metric?

ATO is used to identify when individual or multiple sets of employee credentials are found on the dark web. This is often an indicator that parts of your awareness programme need to be fortified, so in addition to notifying you of the problem for immediate remediation, we also look for patterns of behaviour that could lead to credential theft.

Today, the most common social engineering attack is phishing that targets and exploits human nature to gain access to sensitive data, corporate networks, and physical locations.

Does Arctic Wolf have a report phishing button?

Yes, the Arctic Wolf Report Phishing Button gives employees an easy way to remove potentially malicious emails from their inbox and report it in one action.

When an email is reported, details of that email are displayed in the Managed Security Awareness dashboard, giving admins the ability to take action on reported emails quickly.
